The Kanyu Tree release new single tomorrow

GALWAY BAND The Kanyu Tree will release their new single ‘Radio’ tomorrow. ‘Radio’ is the trio’s third single and their first for Sony Music Ireland.

The band are Daniel, Shane and Óisín Cluskey, from Salthill, and their music is an infectious mix of slick pop, catchy choruses, soulful vocal harmonies, and white boy funk.

‘Radio’ is the first single to be taken from the band’s debut album which they are currently working on in both London and Galway with co-producer Ali Shaheed Muhammad, from A Tribe Called Quest. The new single was mixed by Steve Fitzmaurice who has also done mixing duties for Paloma Faith, Depeche Mode and U2.

The band will be in HMV Galway tomorrow at 5pm to perform live and sign copies of ‘Radio’.
