THE POET Micheal O’Loughlin will launch his new collection In This Life in this Town Hall Theatre bar this Saturday at 5pm.
The launch is part of the Cúirt international Festival of Literature and the guest speaker will be City Arts Officer James C Harrold.
Born in Dublin in 1958, Michael lived in Spain and the Netherlands for many years before returning to Ireland. He has been Writer Fellow in Trinity College, Dublin, and Writer- in-Residence in Galway City and County. His previous poetry collections include Stalingrad: The Street Dictionary (1980 ), Atlantic Blues (1982 ), The Diary Of A Silence (1985 ), and Another Nation: New And Selected Poems (1997 ).
Admission is free and all are welcome.
