GET READY to sing with John Travolta and show off your best 1950s moves when Sing Along Cinema brings Grease to the Róisín Dubh this Saturday at 7.30pm.
Sing Along Cinema combines the silliness and fun of karaoke with the kitsch extravaganza of classic musical cinema. Most importantly, it’s where the audience is the star!
Grease will be screened in the Róisín on a big screen with full subtitles. There will be a major sound system and interactive lighting, and the audience are expected to sing and dance along with the songs and say aloud favourite lines of dialogue. The host will be comedian Declan Rooney (Savage Eye ).
The audience singing will continue as afterwards as the Róisín will hold its ever popular Silent Disco. DJs Gugai and Graham Dolan will try to outdo each other with classic pop and rock anthems, indie favourites, and guilty pleasures.
Keep an eye out for up coming Sing Along Cinema productions of The Wizard of Oz and Footloose at the Róisín Dubh
Admission is €9.50 and tickets can be booked in advance through www.tickets.ie Over 18s only. See also www.singalongcinema.com
