Take a mountain trek at Kenny’s Bookshop

If you like hillwalking or climbing mountains, or even if you do not, a public lecture by the Irish mountaineer Adrian Hendroff, is bound to be of interest.

Mr Hendroff will be speaking in Kenny’s Bookshop, Liosbán, Tuam Road, at 2pm this Saturday. He will talk about his favourite places in the Irish mountains, discuss what inspired him to write his book From High Places, and give a slideshow of some stunning images taken from the mountain heights.

“I’ve never ceased to be inspired by our mountain landscape,” said Mr Hendroff. “There’s so much out there on offer, and for some the mountains are literally at their doorstep, so why wait? There are new worlds to be discovered and explored among these mountain areas.”

Admission is free and all are welcome. Mr Hendroff will also be signing copies of From High Places
