THE FOURTH and final heat of Show Me The Funny, the competition to find the freshest new voice in Irish comedy, takes place next Monday at 8pm in The King’s Head.
So far, six aspiring comics have made it through to the grand final on April 4 and they will be joined by two more from this final heat. The eventual winner will perform at this year’s Electric Picnic as well as receiving a cash prize. Special guest on the night is the delightfully leftfield comic Colm O’Regan and Gerry Mallon is the MC.
Admission is €5 and includes a free pint of Bulmers for the first 100 people.
