THE AWARD winning film As If I Am Not There will be screened at the Eye Cinema and its director Juanita Wilson will attend one of the screenings.
As If I Am Not There tells the story of a young woman from Sarajevo whose life is shattered the day a young soldier walks into her apartment and tells her to pack her things. This film is a modern war story that explores love, identity, and the connections between people.
The film will be screened from Friday onwards and Ms Wilson will be in attendance at the Eye on Thursday March 24 to engage in a Q&A with the audience.
Juanita was recently awarded an IFTA for Best Director and the movie also scooped IFTAs for Best Film and Best Script.
