O’BRIENS SANDWICH Bar in Liosban has just opened a new art exhibition space and will now be displaying artworks as well as serving food.
“Having given the store a complete make over we wanted to provide a space for artists to exhibit their work,” said new space owner Aonghus McGuinness. “We approached Artspace who are based in Liosban and we were delighted Isabelle Gaborit wanted to get the project off the ground with a selection of her work.”
Customers can purchase the paintings directly from the artist and all the proceeds go to the artist. Isabelle was born in La Rochelle in the southwest of France but currently resides in Co Galway.
O’Briens Liosban is open Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 4.30pm.
