The Connacht College of Design is offering an Associate Diploma Course in Interior Design in Galway (Oranmore ). It begins next week and is taught by well-known interior designer Amanda Stuart.
Stuart has recently completed corporate projects in Las Vegas, Nevada and has now returned to Ireland to teach interior design at CCD. Her work has been featured in many Irish and UK interior designs.
The part-time evening course revolves around the practicalities of interior design, and students work with actual samples of wallpapers, curtain and upholstery fabrics, trims, etc, to learn how to present ideas and design boards to update their own homes and even help their friends. You do not just listen to lectures, you actually work with real samples and create design boards as well.
