Get swinging at the Róisín Dubh

SWING DANCING may be associated with the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, but it’s enjoying a major revival and it’s coming to the Róisín Dubh.

The Dominick Street venue will be hosing The Jitterbug Club every Tuesday from 7.30pm starting February 15.

The Jitterbug Club consists of swing dance classes for complete beginners from 7.30pm by Galway Swing. No partner is required and classes are taught in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Afterwards you can practice your new dance steps to the sounds of the West Coast Big Band from 9.30pm.

Dance class details can be found at www.galwayswing.com or call Paul on 087 - 9358160.
