This year the St Patrick’s Day celebrations will start early and the organisers have created a programme of events in the run up to the day.
For those wishing to take part, this year’s parade will be held on Thursday March 17 and registration is now open. This year the theme is ‘World of Wonder’ and the organisers are encouraging people to harness the carnival spirit and be creative with their entries.
As in previous years no trucks or heavy vehicles will be permitted, with the exception of vintage cars.
