David Norris kicks off th west of Ireland leg of his presidential campaign when he gives a talk in NUI,Galway — the former workplace of his Áras rival Michael D Higgins next Monday night.
Sen Norris is well known as an orator, Joycean scholar, entertainer, Christian, and campaigner for gay rights.
Galway will be able to hear Sen Norris talk about all these issues when he addresses a public meeting entitled An Evening With Senator David Norris, next week.
The meeting is organised by NUI, Galway’s Political Discussion Society and it takes place in the Kirwan Theatre, university main concourse, on Monday January 31 at 8pm.
Admission to the event is free and it is open to the public as well as students. All are welcome
