The issues involved which have caused a delay in proceeding with the art house cinema for Galway are due for discussion between all interested parties soon.
At the most recent city council meeting, the issue of the art house cinema was raised. Labour councillor Colette Connolly called for the council’s director of services, Solas, and any councillors who wish to attend, to discuss the issue involved in the delay in proceeding with the art house cinema.
Her motion also called for a discussion on the re-opening the route where the site of the proposed new cinema is or to provide an alternative route for motorists.
Cllr Connolly’s motion was agreed to by the councillors.
