THE ACTING for Film and Television workshops return to Galway and will take place at The Carlton Hotel from Tuesday February 1 to Thursday 3 from 7pm to 11pm.
These workshops will provide participants the essentials of screen acting, how to audition for commercials, cold-read for feature films, hit your marks, work in close-up, medium shot and long shot, use-of props, shoot dramatic scenes, get an agent, use 10 x 8 headshots, network with castings directors, compile a show reel, get called to auditions.
Classes are open to beginners and experienced. Participants must be at least 17 years (and over 40s are also welcome ). It will be led by Shane Munro, acting on-camera lecturer, film producer and actors agent. There is a maximum of 10 participants.
