A 19-year-old who stole two bottles of Southern Comfort whiskey was before Ballina District Court on Tuesday.
Jack Grange, 8 Bluebell Woods, Oranmore, Galway, was identified on CCTV removing the €57 worth of alcohol from Casey’s Centra, Ballina, on November 17 2009.
Grange admitted he stole the alcohol while he was drunk. The property was recovered.
Judge Aeneas McCarthy applied the Probation Act.
