St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church will host a ‘Service of Healing and Hope’ to mark the annual Week of Prayer for Christian Unity here in Ireland.
The service will take place on Wednesday January 19 at 8pm. All are welcome to this ecumenical and inclusive liturgy. The leaders of the major Christian denominations in Galway will participate and a brief address will be given by Archdeacon Gary Hastings, Rector of St Nicholas’.
“We are extending a special invitation to all who seek relief from mental and physical ailments and illness,” said Rev Hastings, “or who wish to pray for healing and recovery for their loved-ones who may be unwell.”
