An Garda Síochána and the Road Safety Authority launch the 2010/11 Christmas and New Year Road Safety Campaign today (Thursday ).
The President of Ireland, Mary McAleese, officially launches the campaign in a poignant location - the sports hall in the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dún Laoghaire.
The Minister for Transport, Noel Dempsey, will also attend the
event at which the Road Safety Authority will also launch the new series of ‘Crashed Lives’ ads, featuring true-life accounts of road tragedies.
