MOYA RODDY, the Galway based writer, will launch Other People, her new collection of short stories, this weekend.
The book, published by Galway company Wordsonthestreet, will be officially launched by Lelia Doolan at the Galway City Museum this Saturday at 1pm.
Moya’s short stories have been anthologised in Dublines and the Anthology of Irish Women’s Writing. Other short stories have appeared in So Very English, Divas, The Irish Times, and ROPES.
Moya facilitates meditation at different locations in Galway including NUIG, where she also teaches a writing workshop Writing With Heart combining writing skills with meditation techniques. She is a member of Poetry Ireland’s writers in schools scheme.
The public is invited to the launch on Saturday.
