STACEY AND The Mechanical Bull, the debut poetry collection by Galway’s Sarah Clancy, will be launched in Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop on Friday December 10 at 6pm.
Stacey and The Mechanical Bull is published by Lapwing Press and the guest speaker at the event will be the poet Kevin Higgins.
Sarah is from Salthill. She is a participant in the Galway Arts Centre Poetry Workshops facilitated by Kevin Higgins and has read her poetry at North Beach Poetry Nights and Over The Edge.
This year Sarah was shortlisted in the poetry section of the WOW awards 2010, the Listowel Writers Week Collection of Poetry Competition 2010, and the Over The Edge New Writer of The Year Competition.
All are welcome to attend the book launch.
