ST PATRICK’S Intermediate Brass Band will give a family Christmas concert in St Patrick’s Band Hall, next to the train station, on Sunday at 2pm.
The show, part of Adventures in Music’s gigs for families series, will feature 25 musicians, ranging in age from eight to 16, playing seasonal favourites like ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’, and film/TV themes from The Muppet Show and Scooby Doo. There may even be visit from Santa himself.
After the show, children will be invited to try some of the band’s instruments. Tickets are €20 for a family ticket or €5 per person, and are available on the door or at www.mykidstime.ie
