LEADING REGGAE producer Gussie P, brass player Matic Horns, and singer Robbie Valentine play Cuba* tomorrow for a night of bass-heavy roots reggae.
Gussie P has been a studio engineer since the early 1980s, first for the Fashion Records label, before launching his own Sip A Cup Records in 1984. Over the years he has worked with such leading reggae artists as Augustus Pablo, Gregory Isaacs, and Horace Andy.
Joining Gussie P on stage will be trombonist Matic Horns, who has toured with Gregory Isaacs, John Holt, Maxi Priest, Aswad, UB40, and soul ll soul. Horns has also recorded albums with Robbie Valentine for Sip A Cup.
The show is organised by the Rootical Sound System. Doors are at 10pm and admission is €7.
