Dress Me Up in The Dáil Bar

As any Galwegian will testify, the women in this city will use any excuse to dress up. On the night of November 23 The Dáil Bar will provide just the occasion for them to find glamorous frocks for the winter party season with Dress Me Up, a sale of new or nearly new party dresses, which will take place at 8pm. All proceeds from the sale will go to COPE Galway. Entry to the event is free with drinks from West Coast Cooler and canapés being served while buyers feast their eyes on the dresses, which will be priced from €10 to €50.

“This is a brilliant opportunity to both clear out your wardrobe and find dresses at bargain prices to last you through the Christmas party season,” said Pamela O’Hanlon of COPE Galway. “Every girl has a dress that she bought for a wedding, ball, or social event that she may never use again. This is an ideal chance to donate them to COPE Galway so that we can use them to raise vital funds for homeless people, women and children experiencing domestic violence, and older people in Galway.”

Brand new dresses have already been donated by Galway’s top boutiques and, to add to the glamour, Elaine from Blush Makeup Boutique will be applying false eyelashes to make eyes really sparkle.

Donations of new or nearly new dresses can be made to COPE Galway’s head office on the Tuam Road, Madison Boutique, The Dáil Bar, and Warehouse. For more details call Pamela O’Hanlon on (091 ) 778750 or visit www.copegalway.ie
