Musgrave invests in Galway site

Musgrave in Galway has undergone a transformation with a €1 million investment in its MarketPlace cash and carry outlet in Galway.

According to the company, the investment in the Galway site is the latest in its€10 million programme aimed at extending its service for retail and foodservice professionals in Ireland in a number of cash and carry outlets around the country.

Musgrave MarketPlace offers a number of innovative ranges such as new products sourced directly from the Far East for Asian restaurants, exclusive wines for the hospitality trade, more than 500 own-brand products, as well as more than 200 best-selling branded lines.

Musgrave MarketPlace has also undertaken environmental initiatives targeted at reducing energy consumption such as the installation of solar panels and energy efficient refrigeration with low energy display lighting, which has been recognised as the most energy efficient in independent trials.
