Star of The Apprentice and Celebrity Bainisteoir Breffni Morgan is to be the guest MC for the forthcoming Colga FC Ball to be held in the Clayton Hotel on Saturday November 27.
He will host the event at which the guest speaker is FAI chief executive John Delaney.
After what has been another eventful year in Irish soccer history, with the opening of the Aviva Stadium and the ongoing European Championship qualifiers, Delaney's address to the rapidly developing south Galway club should be well worth hearing.
The ball is the final event in what has been a tremendous year for one of the west of Ireland’s fastest-growing and most dynamic clubs.
Milestones in 2010 included Colga’s u-16 girls winning the Umbro Women’s u-16 Cup to become All-Ireland champions, the ongoing development of super new grounds at Kilcornan, outside Clarinbridge, club membership hitting the 500 mark and the club running the biggest An Post Summer School nationally.
Tickets are priced at €50 each including dinner. For table bookings, phone 087 8142644. Alternatively tickets may be purchased at Londis Kilcolgan, Centra Clarinbridge, or Sherry’s in Clarinbridge.
