Fine Gael’s Galway West election selection convention, which was due to be held on November 21, has been postponed.
The convention has been postponed until Sunday December 5 in order to allow leading party figures and members help FG in canvassing in the long delayed Donegal South West by-election.
The candidates seeking nomination to run in Galway West are Dep Pádraic McCormack, Sen Fidelma Healy Eames, councillors Brian Walsh, Hildegarde Naughton, and Eileen Mannion. Also seeking nomination are Seosamh O’Laoi and Keith Stephens.
