IT’S BEEN a long time coming, but finally folk-rock singer-songwriter Fia Rua is releasing his second album Falling Time.
The official album launch will take place with a concert upstairs in Kelly’s Bar, Bridge Street, on Saturday at 8.30pm.
The Kildare born, Co Galway based singer-songwriter’s sound draws on Bob Dylan and Luke Kelly and is given its own unique flavour through Fia Rua’s vocal style . As Hotpress said, “he possesses an incredibly distinctive voice with a quavering depth, he draws the listener in and holds nothing back.”
Following a string of live performances including several European tours and an Electric Picnic appearance, Fia Rua (aka Eoghan Burke ) launches his new album Falling Time. It features 10 songs, nine written by Eoghan and one in collaboration with the Co Lough agit-folk musician Jinx Lennon.
Fans can download the title track for free from www.fiarua1.bandwagon.com and http://fiarua1.bandcamp.com/track/falling-time
