The third Tóchar Phádraig walk takes place on Saturday August 30, leaving Ballintubber Abbey at 8.30am.
This old pilgrim path predates Christianity in Ireland and stretches from Ballintubber to Croagh Patrick, some 22 miles away. The route passes through unspoiled countryside with ancient monuments and pre famine villages. A back up car will accompany walkers.
This is the last planned walk from Ballintubber Abbey for 2008.
