THE TULCA Festival of Visual Art takes place in Galway from November 6 to 21 and as well as the many exhibitions, there will also be a series of workshops and talks.
There will be a pre-Festival collaborative talk in association with the Galway Theatre Festival. A Fine Line takes place in the Nuns Island Theatre this Saturday at 2pm and will explore the similarities and differences between theatre and the visual arts.
Throughout TULCA performance artists Helge Meyer, Aidana Rico, and Paolo Paz Yee will run workshops in Nun’s Island. These are open to all levels of experience. For more information email [email protected]
Artist Jennifer Brady will give a talk on her practice, recent projects, and her TULCA exhibition The View From Here in Gallery 126 on Tuesday November 9 at 6pm.
A series of talks will take place in GMIT, including an information event launching the Connect Mentoring Programme on Tuesday November 16 from 1pm to 4pm.
The programme provides a practical resource for artists and arts organisations interested in mentoring. Places are limited. Those interested should book their place by emailing [email protected]
