Fancy being pampered and raising money for a good cause? If so, go along to the Pampering Night in aid of Galway Simon at the Radisson Blu Hotel (tomorrow ) Friday at 7pm.
Thirty west of Ireland beauty and health companies will be on hand during the evening offering a host of free treatments, including mini facials, massages, manicures, hair styling and makeovers as well as giving away free samples.
Paul Griffin, owner of Zenith Hairdressing, Galway’s multi award winning salon at Eyre Street and Marion Gleeson, L’Oreal professionel ID artist, will demonstrate how to achieve the latest season’s trends.
“As well as offering information on all the latest developments in hair services, products and their suitability for individuals, we will give ladies at the pampering night the opportunity to look and learn how the guys achieve the looks that have graced the front covers of glossy magazines,” he says.
Local milliner Mark T Burke, who won the Accessory Designer of the Year title at the Golden Egg Irish Fashion Innovation Awards, will be on hand on the night also. Most recently his designs were spotted at Ascot and on ‘Best Dressed Lady’ winner Heidi Higgins at this year’s Punchestown Races.
Style coach Claire Golden will give advice on upcoming fashion trends and one-to-one style tips.
Tickets for the evening cost €15 and the proceeds will go directly to Galway Simon Community to assist it in providing food, accommodation and support to men and women in Galway who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
