THE FIRST time you see the gimp being led out of his room in Pulp Fiction is a rather, ‘unforgaettable’ cinema experience, and you are likely to have another such experience quite soon.
Late Night Gimp Fight, which has proven a hit in British comedy citcles is bringing its own kind of madness to the Róisín Dubh on Friday October 22 and Saturday 23 at 11pm as part of the Galway Comedy Festival.
Five young men in wrestling masks will perform an hour long show of fast-paced sketch comedy, song, and dance, and featuring the occasional gimp, which we are told, will leave you feeling violated, but in a good way.
“Sketch comedy doesn’t get much better than this,” said The Scotsman, while Three Weeks declared the show “nothing short of genius”.
For tickets contact Zhivago, Shop Street, the Town Hall Theatre (091 - 569777 ), or see www.galwaycomedyfestival.com A limited number of tickets will also be available on the door.
