One hundred per cent Irish beauty salon opens in Oranmore

Bláthanna, a new beauty salon which has opened in Oranmore, uses exclusively luxury Irish products. The salon is owned and run by Suzanne Murphy who believes strongly in the selection of products for the business. “It was an easy decision when it came down to it, I wanted to support the Irish economy while using the most luxurious and organic products possible,” she said.

Voya, the main product line at the salon, is a hand harvested seaweed product sourced from Strandhill in Co Sligo; and the salon’s growing client base is raving about it. Suzanne Murphy has plans to extend its seaweed baths due to demand from people seeking the well known health benefits that seaweed provides.

Another product attracting great reviews from its clients is the Irish tan the salon uses. It is an organic, odourless, and chemical free tan called Vita Liberata which is sprayed professionally by the beauticians in Bláthanna.

Bláthanna has plans to expand the salon in the next six months to create three further positions. Bláthanna is located on Main Street in Oranmore, over KC Blakes Pantry. For more information call (091 ) 388055 or visit www.blathanna.ie
