The Galway City Museum will celebrate the life and work of Pádraic Ó Conaire this Saturday from 2pm.
There will be a performance by actor Diarmuid De Faoite, and a screening of a drama-documentary about the writer.
Diarmuid De Faoite has travelled the world with a one-man show based on the life of the famous writer. His talk will concentrate on Ó Conaire’s relationship with the city, as well as reading extracts from his work, and relaying anecdotes about the man.Admission is free.
