Clarinbridge Heritage will host a 10-week course in heritage, starting in the village next week.
The course will look at Galway’s folklore and maritime culture, gaining insights from Cork Northside and Roscommon Folklore projects and looking at the different ways of collecting and making available people’s stories through the use of multimedia.
Over the 10 weeks participants can avail of a range of talks, workshops, and field trips facilitated by experts from the folklore departments of UCD and UCC and the Roscommon Folklore Project.
The course will take place on Wednesdays at Cois Coille, Brothers of Charity, Kilcornan, from October 6 to November 20 with classes from 7pm to 9pm.
