GOAL Jersey Day takes place tomorrow and will be supported by some of Ireland’s top sporting stars.
Jersey Day is a fun and hugely popular annual event which takes place for one day in schools, offices and organisations across the country. People are invited to wear their favourite jersey for the day and make a contribution to GOAL.
The money raised is channelled into GOAL’s many humanitarian and life-saving projects that have been providing aid to the poorest of the poor in the developing world since the inception of the organisation in 1977. A sum of €270,000 was raised last year and GOAL is hoping to improve on that figure for 2010.
