BLUE TEAPOT Theatre Company will be performing Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Galway city and Ballinasloe over the next week.
Blue Teapot, the theatre company for actors with a learning disability, will be performing scenes from their most recent production A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The show takes place tomorrow at 7pm at the company’s premises at Silke’s on Munster Avenue.
The scenes will be followed by a discussion with the actors at which audience members can enquire about the process, the experience and the development of the actors. The event is part of Galway Culture Night 2010.
After Blue Teapot’s show, there will be Wings Of Words, a night of tales of horror and wonder from storytellers from Oslo, Lancashire, and Dublin, from 9pm to 11pm. Admission to both events is free.
Blue Teapot will perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream in its entirety in Ballinasloe next Wednesday at 12 noon in the Ballinasloe Town Hall Theatre. The Blue Teapot actors will play multiple characters. The play will be directed by Petal Pilley.
