New term begins at Stagecoach Theatre Arts

Stagecoach Theatre Arts Galway will perform Olivia, The Musical, a spoof version of Oliver Twist, by Malcolm Sircom on December 11 at The Bank of Ireland Theatre, NUI Galway.

Based at St Mary's College, the centre’s current term will run on Saturdays until December 11.

Now in its 21st year and respected for small classes, independent inspections, LAMDA exams, and parent reports, Stagecoach offers professional training in all three disciplines of drama, dance, and singing under one roof.

Enthusiasm is all that is needed according to principal John Lucey. “Parents assume we seek talented young performers but there are no auditions and all boys and girls are welcome to complete a two week trial,” he said. “Stagecoach is a safe space for children and teenagers to take creative risk, make new friends, and build confidence which are skills for life and not just for the stage.”

Classes cost €12 per one hour lesson. To view the new prospectus visit www.stagecoach.ie/galway or call (091 ) 556274.
