A 23-year-old man charged with possession of cannabis with intent to sell or supply has been further remanded on continuing bail.
Pawel Paczkowski (23 ) with an address at Carnmore West, Oranmore, appeared at Galway District Court on Monday charged with alleged possession of cannabis herb, and possession of cannabis with intent to sell or supply on April 23, 2010, at Fearann Ri, Doughiska, contrary to Section 3 and Section 15 respectively of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Garda Declan Murphy gave evidence of further charging the defendant on the morning of the court with the intent to sell or supply charge.
The court then heard that it will be alleged that Paczkowski’s vehicle had been searched and that €180 worth of cannabis had been found, and that in follow-up searches of his house €6,000 in cash was discovered.
