The Western Region of C.I.P.D. are hosting a programme of events on September 14 at the Harbour Hotel, Galway at 6pm. The overall theme for the forthcoming year ”Innovative HR – Towards Recovery”, is apt as despite the challenges that businesses currently face in the practice of Human Resource Management, there is emerging evidence that the HR function has and is playing a significant role in managing the business. The chosen theme and the range of speakers and topics in the 2010-2011 programme reflects how the HR function has supported the business to manage through the current challenges and is leading in the preparation towards recovery.
