Could you be the JCI Young Entrepreneur of the Year?

Do you have what it takes to be Galway’s 12th JCI Young Entrepreneur of the year? The success of the JCI Galway Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award can be seen from its twelve years in existence. The competition celebrates the entrepreneurial vision of budding young Galway entrepreneurs such as past winners, Johnny Donnelly of Arcana, Joerg Mueller of Solaris Botanicals, Mike O’Connor of Bellissimo, Liam Dilleen of EZ Living, Pearce Flannery of Pragmatica and Declan Ganley of Rivada Communications to name a few. The diversity of business ventures has been the hallmark of the competition.

In association with the Galway Advertiser, the annual awards are organised and facilitated by Junior Chamber Galway members with the aim to recognise and acknowledge innovative young business people in Galway city and county who are contributing to the community, creating much valued employment and making a difference to the local economy. The Junior Chamber Galway Young Entrepreneur Awards are now in their 12th year running and have been a significant accomplishment not only for JCI Galway, but also for the winner and the sponsors involved in the competition.

Following a series of interviews with an expert judging panel, the finalists will be announced and will have the opportunity to present at the Awards night on Friday November 5 at the Galway Bay Hotel. The Galway Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010 will be announced at this special event attended by the competition sponsors, Judges, JCI members, entrants and guests. The winner will be presented with an outstanding prize package kindly sponsored by the Galway Advertiser along with a substantial resource of consultancy and professional services from some of Galway’s leading local businesses (to be announced next week ), as well as the Galway crystal perpetual trophy.

JCI is delighted to have the Galway Advertiser on board for such a worthwhile community project. The publication has been the competition’s main sponsor for many years and is committed to giving the JCI Galway Young Entrepreneur Awards 2010 and its entrants major support in the newspaper as well as an incredible prize pool of advertising and media advice worth €17,500.

Members of the business community are invited to enter, nominate and to encourage associates to enter and be in with a chance of winning this prestigious JCI Galway Young Entrepreneur Awards. The awards competition is open to young business people based in County Galway aged between 18 and 40 years old, who was a founder or co-founder of a business in Galway, and primarily responsible for the recent performance of their business and the business, which must be in operation for more than one year.
