Multi-award winning Zenith Hairdressing, headed up by Paul Griffin and his creative team at their busy salon on Eyre Street, added another string to their bow this week when they were named as one of the best value salons in the country.
A national survey carried out by Consumer Choice magazine rated Zenith as among those offering top value in the country for pricing and value. Using only luxury brands such as Loreal and Redken, the premium of hair smoothing services and an array of natural alternative products, it came as a surprise to people just how reasonable the prices were.
When owner Paul Griffin was asked how Zenith rated so highly in the value stakes without resorting to money off or promotions, his answer was simple. ‘We never put our prices up to some of the sky high prices we heard about during the boom, instead we respectfully offered the highest level of service provided by experts, and therefore we just continued to offer the same competitive prices on an ongoing basis to our devoted following. I’m glad the rest of the country is looking to Galway as an example of a city that offers great standards and value .
