HOUSE OF Cosy Cushions, the Dublin based indie-band, have released their new album Animal Dream (Seadog Records ) and will play the Róisín Dubh on Tuesday at 9pm.
The band was formed by songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist Richard Bolhuis in 2003. The line up is completed by Stephen Kiernan (drums ), Rob Campbell (bass ), Rossa O’Neill (trombone ), and Orla Nolan (vocals ).
Animal Dream features 12 tracks which vary in mood and style but are consistent in quality. Guest musicians on the album feature vocalist and songwriter Cathy Davey, violinist Cora Venus Lunny, cellist Eimear O’Grady, and harmonica player Christian Volkmann.
