ONLY FUMES & Corpses, Galway’s leading hardcore punk band, play upstairs at Kelly’s Bar, Bridge Street, on Friday September 10.
The band have been together for the past five years and have toured extensively across Europe. Recent line-up changes have given the band a new sound with d-beat and dub being added to their straight ahead hardcore approach.
They released their debut album Who Really Cares, What Really Lasts in July. It was released on both CD and vinyl. The vinyl version comes with a download code to enable listeners get high quality audio files to download straight onto their MP3 player.
Also playing Kelly’s in September are The Brad Pitt Light Orchestra, on Friday September 17, as part of a tour promoting their debut album Lowering The Tone; Duke Special plays on Thursday 23 for Arthur’s Day, while trad band Guidewires take to the stage on Sunday 26.
