Students of this year’s Access Music Project will perform for the public at their end of term gig which takes place in The King’s Head on Thursday September 9 at 8pm.
The special guest on the night will be the popular Tuam singer-songwriter Noelie McDonnell. Noelie’s song ‘I Keep My Joy Alive’ has received great airplay from on Today FM’s Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show.
The single will receive its official release at the AMP gig and proceeds from the single will be donated to the project.
AMP is a community employment scheme funded by FÁS and is an accredited one-year course for people who wish to pursue a career in music. It aims to enhance participants' skills in order to improve their employment prospects in the music industry and/or facilitate access to higher education.
Admission is free to next Thursday’s gig but donations are welcome to support the project’s work.
