Fashionistas can learn about choosing the perfect coat at style events presented by top stylist Marietta Doran at Brown Thomas on Friday and Saturday September 10 and 11.
They are some of a series of fashion and beauty events taking place at the store next month. Experts will be available to help people “revive and rejuvenate” their current looks for the forthcoming season.
“Customers will revel in the professional excellence of The Masters of Fashion and Beauty who will be on hand to advise and assist with make-up and wardrobe dilemmas to ensure every fashionista is on trend this season,” says a spokesperson for the store.
“The month-long programme will feature top fashion advisers giving ‘How To’ workshops and trend presentations, international make-up artists giving their top tips on how to achieve the new season’s key looks, and the most beautiful and luxurious products being launched exclusively.”
Events to watch out for include the “Exclusive Fashion Fix Fashion Thursday” focusing on this season’s trends with BT style guru Lisa Lane and a hosiery trends workshop with Nicky Harris where you can learn how to prepare your wardrobe for winter on Thursday September 2, and a trends style workshop showing you how to adapt this season’s trends to suit your style on Saturday September 4.
Other workshops to look out for are Estee Lauder “Three steps to Beautiful Eyes” master classes, ideal for taking you from day to night, Clinique’s custom lip-fit consultation which offers a complimentary four shades lip palette to help you discover the perfect lip colours to take you through the season, Bare Minerals’ complimentary make-under and shade match of its new matte foundation and the complimentary hand and arm massages from Molton Brown from Thursday September 9 to 19.
Trend setters can also learn how to find the perfect jeans/lingerie/styles of the ‘50s, 60s and 70s as well as get a unique fashion fix as Gaeilge with Paisean Faisean presenter Bláthnaid Ní Dhonnchadha and style expert Amanda Snee on Friday September 24.
