Cougars looking for new cheerleaders

Finding a healthy hobby that will be fun and interesting long-term is very difficult especially for young girls these days. Galway City Cougars Cheerleading has made it very easy to enjoy a fun sport that will definitely keep their interest as well as keeping them fit and healthy for years to come.

A combination of dance, gymnastics, and eye-popping stunt work, cheerleading works on many different levels of fitness and is great for keeping weight in check, building strong bones and muscles, and is a competitive but very social outlet for young people. With opportunities to compete on a national and international level, the motivation to keep fit and keep learning new routines and stunts is ever present.

Galway City Cougars ran a series of very successful summer camps in Renmore, Salthill, and Casla throughout July and the parents were amazed by how much their children had learned in just a week with audible gasps from the audience during their stunt work.

Galway City Cougars offers a wide range of age groups: Pee Wee four - six, Junior seven-11, and Senior 12+ and even an adult squad for those who always wanted to try it but never had the chance.
