The Saw Doctors play Tuam this weekend

ON THEIR second album they were All The Way From Tuam, and now The Saw Doctors, used to playing concerts across the world, are coming home.

The band will play two shows in their native Tuam as part of the Tuam Arts Festival - tomorrow and Saturday in the Festival Tent, Vicar Street, Tuam.

At the concerts, The Docs will preview all 11 new songs from their forthcoming album The Further Adventures of The Saw Doctors, which was chosen as Album of The Week on RTÉ Radio 1 last week.

As well as the new material, The Docs will also play some old favourites in a stripped down acoustic form at the start of each concert. There will also be an a cappella version of ‘Red Cortina’.

There are only 400 tickets available for the two concerts. Tickets cost €20 plus charges and are available from Ticketmaster outlets. The Further Adventures of The Saw Doctors will be released on Friday September 17.
