Apostolic Workers to hold exhibitions in Salthill and Lackagh

Two Galway branches of the Apostolic Workers group will hold their annual displays this weekend.

The Apostolic Workers Galway Diocese will hold its annual exhibition of work in St Enda’s School, Dr Mannix Road, Salthill, this Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

The Bishop of Galway the Most Rev Martin Drennan will open the exhibition. It will feature a sale of work, raffle, cake sale, bric-a-brac, jumble sale, and children’s art. The prize giving ceremony for the children’s art will also take place.

Lackagh Apostolic Workers Society is holding its annual display and sale this coming weekend, Saturday and Sunday.

Anyone wishing to donate any items can drop them into Lackagh Museum on Friday or Saturday. Broken rosary beads, jewellery, fountain pens, old coins, home baking and jams are especially welcome. The event takes place in the museum on Saturday from 11am to 8pm and on Sunday from 10am to 4pm and all are welcome.
