DAVID GRAY is coming to Galway next month for Arthur’s Day in what will be the singer-songwriter’s third live performance in the city in the past five years.
David will play Galway as part of Guinness’ Arthur’s Day celebrations on September 23 and on the night he will headline a major open air concert at Folan Quay in the Docks.
The concert line-up also includes British guitarist Newton Faulkner, Sharon Shannon, The Magic Numbers, and a local act.
David recently released his new album Foundling which was made with White Ladder producer and long term colleague Lestyn Polson, Caroline Dale & The Kick Horns, and the regular members of David’s band.
Other Arthur’s Day Galway gigs include A Band Called Wanda at the Róisín Dubh; Duke Special at Kelly’s; A Band Called Wanda and Johnny Flynn at Tigh Cóilí; and Johnny Flynn at Taaffes. There will also be special guests on the night.
