Broaden your mind at new city courses

Are you interested in dreams? Would you like to learn how to explore their meaning? If so, you may be interested in attending a one-day dream workshop which takes place on Saturday October 2 from 10am to 4pm.

Facilitators Marian Dunlea and Olivia Russell (086-6098887 ) describe dreams as a “wondrous gift” which can give us a deeper insight into ourselves and bring peace and healing to us.

Other events include a weekly course on relaxation and guidance through meditation on the gospel stories, being given by Angela Sheehan (086 3574194 ) from Monday September 20 from 8pm to 9.30pm and a six week course by David Keane (086 3086043 ) starting on Tuesday September 21 from 8pm to 9.30pm which will investigate your beliefs and goals. At the end you will have a clear plan of action for the year ahead with a toolkit of exercises to support you on your journey. Through the use of song, music and movement Evelyn Horan (087 7796731 ) provides workshops which can help to access your creativity and promote, improve and maintain a sense of wellbeing in your life. The starting date for this has yet to be confirmed.

These events are being organised by Sr Imelda O’Sullivan for the Pernet Lay Associates Networking Together group. Registration days for signing up to the programmes are on SaturdayAugust 21 from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm at the Westside Library and on Monday September 13 from 8pm to9.30pm at Croi na Gaillimhe, 1 Mill Street
