Galway families are being sought for a new Irish language reality programme which seeks to help families with some good old-fashioned practical advice.
The show, provisionally titled Super Mhamó, will see heroic super granny Máire Andrews come to the aid of families who are short on time together, short on fun, or finding it hard to make the budget stretch.
Super Mhamó has a sense of humour and a love of children. She will share hints and tips on getting the best out of life, and show thoroughly modern families how a lifestyle that draws on the best of how life used to be can be more fun, more friendly, more rewarding and more beneficial for those around them.
Participating families must have a good command of Irish and be confident to use it on camera, and they must be happy to appear on television ‘warts and all’. Families must also have a reason to want to change, and they should be happy to take part in different family activities.
