THE WONDERFUL characters of Dr Seuss will gather at the Town Hall next month for a musical performance with The Cat in the Hat as the MC for the evening.
Sussical The Musical will be staged at the Town Hall Theatre from August 11 to 16. It will feature Horton the elephant, Gertrude the bird, JoJothe thinker, The Wickersham Brothers, the Sour Kangaroo, and all of the Whos.
Michael Keane (The Cat In The Hat ) and James Harris (Horton The Elephant ), will be joined by Louise Colohan, Michelle Lawless, Marcus Wynne, Clodagh Brennan, Liam Brennan, Heather Doyle, and Cian Forde, in a cast of more than 60 people.
Sussical The Musical features music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahren. The directors are Brian and Sean Power. The choreographer is Cherie Worthington Eyre.
Tickets are €17/15. Performances start at 7.30pm. There will also be a preview on Monday 11 (tickets €13 ) and matinees on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 at 2.30pm.
